A parking garage exit gate recently claimed the antenna mast on my '04 RX 330 and in the process it broke off far enough down that the threads are now gone. So, it looks like I have to replace the entire base.

Does anyone have a line on a where I can purchase these parts for a reasonable price and how hard is the installation?

go to a recycle facility. (junkyard in the old parlance) They can get you the complete antenna assembly. Installing it in your vehicle is a lot of "fun"--I did it --you can too.

 

I have looked at replacing my antenna and the DIY states that you will have to take down the overheard cover. There are extensive DIY's on how to do this. If you are game you can save a lot of money.
