I've found these painted running boards on Lexus-parts.com for $812.43 each set. Isn't it the Lexus OEM accessory? I can't find this on the Lexus RX350 accessory brochure.

 

Call your Lexus parts department and inquire as to the availability on the new RX350.

 

These are the same running boards that you saw at Lexus-parts.com. They auction-off/sell some of their stuff in Ebay and you'll find those boards there. I think we paid around $500+. These are made by ATS Designs. Did a Yahoo/Google search for these boards after we'd purchased ours and found some at $400+. It wasn't that hard to install; didn't need to hoist the car up; there are 6 holes to drill, but after that, it's nuts and bolts. Here's a PDF attachment of the instructions:

 

The running boards referenced are for a 2003 RX330 ... not the 2007 RX350.

 

Oh yeah! I found those (painted) on eBay by "isallaboutyourlexus" for $488 plus $24 S/H.

eph - Is that your RX with the running boards installed? I can't see it very well because the picture is so small.

Just got a respond from my dealer. They are aftermarket and need to be ordered direct from the vendor. Price? $1025 for the running board and $825 for the tube steps, both price includes installation. That's crazy!

 

Buy the painted ones off ebay sold by Sewell Lexus. I did and had no problems with it. Paint matched, installation was done by myself in my garage in a couple of hours. Fitment is good. All for a little over $500 shipped to Hawaii. I'd say it was a good deal. Definately don't pay $1000 or even that $800. Pay no more than the ebay prices.
