Recommendations for all weather floor and cargo mat
I've had my RX 350 for about 7 weeks now. Love it.
Rear cargo matt arrived at dealer today.
I'll be at the dealer tomorrow to pick up. I wanted to buy some plants but didn't want to get the cargo carpet dirty.

I've had both WeatherTech and Lexus OEM rubber (all-weather) floor mats and rubber cargo mat. Personally, I like the Lexus OEM mats. Two features of the WeatherTech floor mats I like better (at least on the front floorboards) is, 1) that the mats go up the sides a bit on most models, and 2) WeatherTech usually has different color options to coordinate with interior colors. I do have to vacuum around the edges of the Lexus rubber floor mats to get all the dirt and grass up that accumulates.
My 2023 RX350 came with the rubber OEM floor mats plus carpeted mats but only the carpeted cargo mat. I have dogs and it's much easier to remove dog hair from the rubber mat than the carpeted mat. If you haul anything in the cargo area, the rubber mat really makes a difference. If you've ever had a leaky item from even the grocery store, it's so easy to clean up vs having to shampoo or spot treat the carpeted mat to remove stains/odors.
The "tread" on my Lexus OEM all-weather (rubber) mats on my 2013 are holding up ok after 200K+ miles but have worn down some but there are no cracks or curling on them. I expect the same out of their new ones as they seem similar.

Greetings All,
New member here, anxiously waiting for a RX350 Luxury to arrive- hopefully in about three weeks. I have had all weather mats in all of my vehicles over the years and have always preferred WeatherTech over OEM for their good fit, high edges and the ability to hold a lot of snow/water. But I have never been a fan of the hard plastic construction.
Once I put money down on the RX I knew that I would be needing good mats for it and since I was at the dealer anyway, I took a look at the OEM mats. They are a constructed from a softer rubber (rubber-like??) compound and of course are an exact fit. The sides are not at all as tall as Weathertech mats but for me, tall enough. I purchased them on the spot; front and rear for $190.
I hope that this information helps someone that may be still on the fence as to which mats to go with.
Now all I need is a car to put them in.....
Pete
