Sorry if I missed this, but I’m in the market for a new RX350 or RX 500h. When I was building these out, the only way I was able to have both the 14 inch + mark Levinson speakers was through the 350 luxury. Since the 14inch is standard, I could add on mark levinson to get both but in the 350 f sport handling and the 500h - you can’t get both in the build configurator.

is this correct or am I doing something incorrectly?

 

You wont be needing great sound system when you want to hear the motor more with the 500H haha.

 

This is a major problem for me with Lexus. Lexus forces you to take options you don't want to get others you do want. They also will not allow you to get certain options if you select a particular option. For me there is a conflict with selecting the 3500lb towing capability option and getting other options I want. There is usually no technical reason for this, other than Lexus just wants to upsell you to something you don't want or need. The prime example of this is forcing you to get large wheels to get the higher trims and options. This actually caused me to buy a Cadillac XT5 in 2018 rather than an RX350.

 

Vehicle build configurators can be glitchy. I would consult the brochure. The brochure says 14inch screen + ML is available on premium+ (RX 350/RX350h), F-sport handling (RX 350), and F-sport performance (RX500h).

Note that the Mark Levinson system is currently having parts shortage and 95%+ of vehicles coming to dealers don't have it.

 

ML package includes the 14’ screen, you can check the brochure on Lexus website and it says:

Mark Levinson PurePlay Surround Sound (includes Lexus Interface2 14-in touchscreen display and Drive Connect3 trial listed above)

That is why 14’ screen and ML are exclusive on build page.
