I am taking delivery of my first Lexus and wonder if I got a good deal. It is a 2026 RXh premium model. The MSRP is $61239. The dealer is giving me a discount of $2317 off list. The only addition is Doc Fees of $490, Gov't Fee? of $233 and Pa state taxes. No other dealer add ons.
From my research, this appears to be a descent out the door price consdering the popularity and availablilty (in the color I wanted).
The $233 government fee is most likely registration, tags, etc. State sales tax you can't avoid. The $499 doc fee should just be labeled "dealer additional profit". That's not bad compared to here in FL where the average dealer fee is twice that. So the bottom line is you realistically got about $1,800 off MSRP, which for a hybrid is not bad. The bottom line....are you happy with what you got and the price you got it for? Then it's a good deal. Congrats!
In my area there is a waiting list for a hybrid. The RX and NX are the top two vehicles for spending the least time on a dealer lot. Any discount on a hybrid is a good deal.
