New PIN
I have a 2024 RX350h Premium with about 19k miles on it. I had a message appear on the screen that said I needed to enter a new 6 digit PIN in a box. If I touch the screen anywhere but the box it will go away. In about 5 minutes it will reappear. I have endured this for several days and about 800 miles. I have not entered a new PIN. The car is otherwise normal. Does anyone know what is going on?
In addition to pairing your phone for calls and music, your phone has the Lexus App. To coordinate the App to your Lexus so it can show tire pressures, show the location of your parked car, remote start, lock, unlock your car, etc., the App and the car need to communicate.
Solution is quick and easy, open the Lexus App and sign in. Upper right corner of the main page (the one with a picture of a car like yours) has a tiny little "head and shoulders" icon. Tap the icon and then "Account" in the middle of the next page. Scroll down to "Security" and open "Reset PIN". Compose a 6-digit Personal Identification Number "PIN" such as your birthday in dd/mm/yy format. Lexus App will want it twice to confirm. Next time the maddening dialog box asks for the 6 Digit PIN, tap in your newly composed PIN and you will not see it again.

Thank you for your reply, and you are right! I found the same answer on Youtube about the same time as I saw your reply. I successively changed the PIN. I bought the car new about 2 years ago, and the salesman never mentioned it. I cannot find anything in the manuals about it. And it waited for 2 years to raise its ugly head. I was on a trip about 800 miles from home. I wonder if the car knew it was away from home and thought it had been stolen? Ha, Ha! Anyway, thanks.
