Is it me or are these numbers off? The EPA estimates show the 2026 RX 450h+ getting better mpg than the 2026 NX 450h+. I know the EPA changes how they measure, but this makes no sense. I also wonder if the updated RX numbers would apply to the 2024 and 2025 models.

It also indicates that they both get 2.9 gallons per 100 miles, which is 34.48275 mpg, a much more accurate number. I'm guessing the NX got slightly below 34.5 mpg and the RX got slightly above that, or maybe Lexus had to round one up and one down to balance out.

I am getting 35.23 mpg by my own calculations, over 36,234 miles. Of course, mileage may vary...
Yeah, my EV range generally stays around 45 miles, though I have typically not used EV above 55 and mostly use it in town. It will be interesting to see the impact that the short freeway run to town changing from a 55 to 65 speed limit will have on my EV range. The few times I've forgotten to switch to HV mode on 65+ freeways, the EV range has been considerably less than usual.
