Just how do you replacethe engine air filter?

You were able to lift the lid to get enough clearance with only unpopping the two clips? Mine absolutely stopped at about 1/2 inch without unplugging the wire - and by unplugging I mean pulling the clip that holds the wire off the air intake - not unplugging it from the MAF sensor

Are you sliding it in from the front. On my 2024 with ICE there is no clearance there unless you bend the new filter in half and I am not sure if that would work. The good news is removing the MAF wire clip takes ten seconds and allows you to lift the cover just enough

You may not have a lot of actual debris in the filter but it’s a good thing to remove the filter and tap out loose dirt/dust/sand occasionally. I blow mine out with compressed air every once in a while.
