Side mirror housing crack and fix
Hello, I backed out the garage and my side mirror on my 2023 RX hit the side of the garage and cracked. Here’s a picture. When I went to the dealership, they said it would be $3000 for a whole new mirror panel. Is there a low cost option to fix this? Am I able to just get the
Mirror is fine. Just need to replace the black part
black plastic housing and take the old one out and put a new one in?

$3000? Your dealer was pulling your leg. The whole side mirror assembly is about $500. Try any reputable Lexus parts site. I bet you could find an assembly at the wrecking yard for half that.

NOTE that equipment/configuration varies. IE, the ones with cameras for 360-degrees views will undoubtedly be more $$$
Go to an independent shop or a body shop to get quotes on labor.
If the color doesn't match, paint both outside mirrors black, like a 500h.
