Default keyfob cannot open the tailgate

I cannot use the keyfob to open the RX500h tailgate after it is repaired. Anyone knows how to fix this issue?

Have you checked the dash switch that disables it?

No buttons on the new RX. everything is through the touch screen and some still in instrument cluster. Hidden in one of the least obvious sub menus probably.

On our 500h, the tailgate open/close button is on the dash, to the left of the steering column.
It requires a 'long press' to operate, presumably to avoid accidental operation.

+++++++++++++++
But, your issue is only when using the FOB?
What repair was made? Was it accident damage? If so, bring it back to the shop.
Perhaps something needs to be 'programmed'.
