Yesterday while exiting the freeway in my 2024 RX 500h, I suddenly got hit with a wave of alerts. It started with a Hybrid System Malfunction warning, then one after another:

• All Wheel Drive System Alert
• Check Engine Light
• Advanced Ultrasonic Detection Alert
• Drive–Start Control System Error

It was pretty overwhelming. I pulled over, turned the car off, and called the dealer to book an appointment (going in tomorrow morning).

But here’s the weird part—about an hour later I started the car again and everything was gone. No alerts, no check engine light, nothing.

Has anyone else experienced something like this? I’m still taking it in, but curious how this many unrelated systems could throw errors and then just reset like nothing ever happened. Any insight would be appreciated.

 

Perhaps the battery is about to go belly up?
I had a similar set of multiple errors occur on my Gen 4 RX 350 - I had a bad battery.
Multiple errors, that sound like they are from several different modules, can be a sign that insufficient voltage is reaching the computers.

 

Just picked up my car from the dealer.

Cause: TC2402 – Transmission Control Computer Assembly

Fix: Reprogrammed the Transmission Control Module per L-SB-0028-24

 

The ultrasonic detection alert is an outlier, didn't think the transmission control module world cause that... Another learning opportunity
