My manual searching skills is bad. Does anyone know where to disable the voice prompt on navigation that loudly says "Welcome to (name of the state you're crossing)". It is annoying as hell.

Even when I'm using AA, this voice just screams at you everytime we cross a state line.

 

I am not in my car now but I believe it's in Settings > Notifications. There you will find a toggle switch for state borders.

 

I like it myself, as long as the volume is turned to a decent level. It is in your settings for maps.
