Noises from Driver's Door
Hi All, I had a '22 NX 350 that made a groaning/creaking sound from the top of the door frame when going up/down driveways and speed bumps.
I now have a '23 RX350 that does the same but worse. My door also has a vibration/rattle from the footwell area, sounds like the speaker grill. My door rattles and reverberates quite a bit when closing it, even very gently.
Last time I was in for service the "technician couldn't recreate noise". The loaner I had made the same groaning/creaking sound but even worse.
Anyone else experience this?

If you can readily reproduce it, take a service advisor for a short drive, confirm they hear it. Once they acknowledge it, know the scenario that causes it, they'll have something to work on.

That would annoy me too. The noises need to go! → It's always a mystery to me whether this is covered under warranty or if I have to fix it myself!?
In my case, only the door panels rattle at high bass levels, around volume level 24. At the bottom edge of the window when in contact with the door panel.
However, I suspect that the door panels may have been removed at some point for some reason.

Driveway aprons that are uneven can REALLY cause flex in automotive body structures. The fact that the loaner made the same sounds is telling.
I agree with the advice to have a dealer rep (preferably a technician) take a ride with you so that they can hear the noise. Hopefully you don't live hours from a dealer. But, you should be able to find a driveway apron close to the dealer that creates the same sound.
The answer MIGHT be to install a body brace kit?
