Extremely disappointed, considering replacement
Agreed, the increased width and length increases anxiety when turning curbed corners.
There are LOTS of mentions on the 5th-Gen RX forum about the vehicle slamming on the brake entering a 7.5 foot wide garage.
+++++++++++
I was parallel parking yesterday with the 360-degree camera guiding me. The RX never BRAKED! by itself...but the car behind me reversed to get out of the way.
And, I wasn't as close to the curb (6") as I had intended.
This is after 1.5 years with the RX500h.

Maybe it's me and my aging self but it feels like a boat. I can't judge the turning radius or the depth of parking spots. I never had an issue with my 2015 RX 350 or any other cars I've driven that I can recall. I've adjusted the seat height and I'm just really struggling to feel in control and thus, safe in the vehicle.
I had a 2010 RX 350 and felt the same way, it felt bigger and I could not judge how close I was to objects in front of me. Plus the grill looks fragile. You get used to it eventually. It helped when I moved to the RX 450h+ with the front camera. I found this picture online when I was looking to find something that would prove I was not crazy. The dimensions say they are about the same, but it does not feel that way. The hood of the previous generation slopes down giving you a better front view. Here is a link to the video:

Shocking to see the original post. We traded our 2016 Rav 4 for the 2024 RX 350h in January 2024. Have just about 10,000 miles on it and couldn’t be happier!
the rav4 was a gutless wonder! The RX is a dream!
just back from a 1500 mile short trip to Minnesota and back through the upper peninsula of Michigan. Never had insufficient power. Very comfortable. Love the handling and ride.
showing 35mpg while going 75 - 80 mph. Sufficient acceleration for passing on the two lane roads in the up.
some of the driving assist features are problematic, but they can be disabled.

My 2023 RX is a few inches longer than my 2013, largely due to the longer snout which I really don't love. Otherwise we find the car enjoyable to drive. You won't see us at LeMans, but hopefully you won't see us at the repair shot much either.
I had my 2015 Lexus RX350 for nine years. I replaced it in January with the new generation. I find myself lost in this new vehicle. It's so big and bulky unlike my previous zippy experience. This morning I had to drive through some cones set out on the road for a detour and I just can't manage to feel comfortable. I am seriously considering a trade-in on another smaller, SUV. Anyone else experiencing these frustrations? Also, any recommendations for a replacement?
This thread makes me wonder how many people buy cars on impulse. Taking the time to do research and thorough test drives would reduce the chance of purchasing the wrong car for your particular needs. Especially with today's vehicles where there is so much tech, how you interface with the vehicle has become increasingly important in terms of overall satisfaction.

The new GX is one of Lexus's larger failures to date for a model refresh. They took soooo long to pull the trigger and got it wrong. Sales are suffering and purchase regrets on the rise. Even with the TX Stop Sale in effect, it has little to no effect to boost GX sales. Dealers try that angle, but to no success. It will be interesting what Lexus does with the '26MY GX. Kind of like the RX L, they rushed to introduce a 7 psss/3rd row compact SUV and it was a major failure. Hence the TX was developed to suit that need in the market.
