1 year to wait?
At the beginning of September 24 I’ve just ordered my new company car, a RX450h+. I was astonished when the company communicated the delivery timing expected: august 2025! Almost a year to wait! I mean…there’s less to wait for a Ferrari, I suppose.
How much did u wait for your Rx starting from the order?
Thanks
p.s. I live in Italy, don’t know if delivery times for Europe are longer.

As a result of that calculation, places with large markets like California tend to get more supplies of PHEV, while neighboring state of Nevada are more constrained. Its just a financial calculation by the carmakers, just business, as they say.
Since the PHEVs are supply constrained (made in Japan and with the highest trims with every possible bell and whistle), naturally, the availability imbalance gets severe depending what the local markets for Lexus in this case is. I've read folks in the NX forum that Canadians can be waiting 1 year for a NX450H+, while I know you can pick up the same car tomorrow in California.
Lexus/Toyota (and any other car maker) have to sell certain number of PHEV or EVs to be able to sell any gas cars in certain regions of the world, I read in this forum, due to local laws and regulations (this may not be requirement but potentially a tax incentive - essentially either a carrot or a stick). So wherever the larger markets are, they strategize towards supplying more numbers of PHEV/EV, just for the ability to sell gas cars.
