Multi-Point Inspection at Dealer?
I'm taking the car in for its first oil change and address a couple things. The service advisor (of course) says I'm due to a Service #2 which includes the multi-point inspection for which they charge (don't know how much yet). From what I've read it is shake the tie rods, wiggle the belts, test the lights and inspect the air filters. Tire toatation and everything suspension and brakes was done at 10,000 when I rotated the tires (non-OEM).
I'm thinking that unless this is free, like free beer, it is the usual stealership padding the bill. Oh, I've checked on the engine and cabin air filters: $90 CAD for both and I can change them myself.

Our 500h came with 1 year Lexus complimentary maintenance, and an additional year dealer-provided complementary maintenance. (Total two years or equivalent miles)
After the dealer saying they replaced the cabin filter (but didn't), and not being accurate with lug nut torques during tire rotation, I'll be doing a lot of those services myself as I have always done. They can change oil & filters that cost money.
I wonder if they will replace the key fob batteries as the Maintenance Schedule says (15,000 miles)? I think I'll mark the button cells just to see....

Closing this one off, the dealer did the inspection for free (they get one in the first year paid by Lexus corp.) Oil change was a bit expensive, but we only need one a year so..
