Yes my dealer on 21” wheel always sets to 36 psi after service . When I asked them door placard recommended to 33 psi they said having 36 psi should be fine. However when we keep at 33 psi and leave the vehicle out on very cold temperatures the low tire pressure warning shows up in morning and after adding few psi more, driving few miles it goes away.

Set it to 33 when tires are COLD and reset the system to that. Tell the dealer to leave it where you want it. They are YOUR tires not theirs.

I run 37-39 in the north east but also accounting for the fact that I'm running wider tires (255/50 21).

Do you have any photos of this setup? I'll be taking delivery of a RX with 21" wheels for my wife tomorrow, and although I like the look of the wheels, the 21"x8" sizing paired with the 235s looks too thin in the rear. I love the feeling and look of a 295 or 305 on the back of my daily Macan and wouldn't be against upsizing slightly when it comes time to swap tires on the RX.

Do you notice any differences from the ~.7" increase in OD vs the OE 235/50?

I noticed the load ratings on the 255/50 that are available from Tire Rack are 106-109 vs. 101 in the OE tires. Do you notice any increase in ride harshness due to the stiffer construction? That was one of the issues I had on the Macan after swapping through a bunch of different tires and deviating from the OE load rating.
