Default Cruise Control Indicator Light on Dash

Just took delivery of a 2024 RX350h - it's my wife's ride. I noticed the cruise indicator lamp is illuminated and I can't figure out from the manual if it's always there? The manual shows the CANCEL button being the right side group button on the far right but that one only shows a dot when I touch meaning it's empty I think. I know in prior generations and also with my ES, the light only goes on when I turn it on with a press of the button - goes off with that same press. These touch sensitive multi function buttons clearly behave in a more complicated way. Thanks in advance if you have any insights.

On the new RX, NX and RZ, think of cruise control as always on. You don't have to turn it on and then Set it. You just push the Drive Assist button on the steering wheel and that sets it at whatever speed you're going.

Terrific and thanks. I guess CANCEL may be there when it's engaged which I will test out.
