GS to RX?
Is the RX500h even with minimal options is close to 68K? Is that because you can't get much off of MSRP? I remember seeing listings on Lexus dealer websites that had the 500H for about $3+K off MSRP, I was thinking if you approach the dealer to actually buy it, you can get even more discount than that, no?
I went from a 2013 GS to 2025 RX450h+ at the end of December.
Was very happy until the issue of data sharing came up. Apparently, the infotainment system was updated, but it was a huge downgrade, in my book.
To use any of the connected subscriptions, you have to accept their master data sharing agreement. If you decline, it tells you that you will not be able to subscribe, and certain functions including ones that you may have paid for will be unavailable. The truth is that if you decline to share (i.e. let them sell your data) you will lose almost all of your functions, including any use of the navigation or GPS system.
So I went from a 2013 to a 2025, and had a MAJOR DOWNGRADE!!
So I later found out that when they went overboard on cloud connectivity, they decided to remove local storage of map and POI data. That decision took away a capability that was there for decades! It’s one thing to add cloud capability, but quite another to replace an existing, standalone, capability and adding dependency on cloud connectivity.

I can't think of any vehicle, ever made, that had built-in nav that was better than what you could get on an iPhone or Android phone, right now. And your phone lets you store offline data/maps, too. In other words, CarPlay and Android Auto make the map issue moot, in my opinion. The Lexus cloud navigation is just an "extra", to me.
So sorry to hear of the accident in your GS, hopefully you didn't sustain any major injuries. I love my '24 RX 350 in the premium plus trim. The seats are comfortable, the car handles well for an SUV. Do not compare it with your GS as again, the RX is an SUV. I love the quiet cabin and it has plenty of power for a car of its size......it is not a race car. I still haven't caught on to why people want their SUVs to handle like a Porsche 911? You should be able to get a good price on a new prem. plus trim. It has most of the features of the Luxury less the ML sound system and alcantara on the seats.....and possibly the panoramic moon roof (which I've had on my Acura, and to me its just a novelty). Good luck in your search, unless you have already made a purchase.
I would have selected a turbocharged 4 cylinder (272hp) Acura TLX sedan over that Audi A6, imo. After all it is a lease so as long as the repairs are covered by them I guess you are good to go.
And there is a choice to V6 (355hp) if craving that low end torque.
*and if anything, a K-tune and call it a day...

Not to hijack this thread, I actually did drive the 4 cylinder.turbo Acura TLX. It was nice, but the much nicer interior and significantly more livable back seat made the Audi A6 the better buy for me. I've got a long history with Honda/Acura products (83 Honda Prelude, 87 Honda Accord, 93 Acura Legend and 05 Acura TL) so making the decision to go with the Audi wasn't made lightly.
