Is there a way to disable the AC being disabled after stopping the engine? It’s fairly annoying, during summer months, to have to power on the AC every time the vehicle is restarted, when the AC had been on prior to turning off the engine. Thanks!

 

If you AC need turning on every time you start your vehicle, there is something wrong. On my RX35h I set the thermostat and the car does the rest. Without adjusting anything it should heat or cool to reach your thermostat setting.

 

Again, there is a setting for this in the RX's SETTINGS menu. You prob inadvertently changed it. Got the Climate Concierge ON?

The indicator of the AC 'switch' isn't intuitive either. A/C lettering ON, AC lettering with blue indicator above it, on or off...There is an explanation somewhere here...

(I've switched several settings unintentionally after playing around, waiting for the wife to buckle up)

 

as long as the HVAC is set to Auto and auto AC is enabled in settings, the car will keep the cabin at your desired temperature, even with engine automatically turned off.
