Bridgestone makes a 19" OEM size, as well as Michelin making a Primacy and CrossClimate2 The CrossClimate is my favorite all-weather tire.
Read from many different sources the Cross Climates great tire but you do lose two to three miles per gallon. I have a hybrid that's important to me. My 24 RX 350H, I have the Michelin Primacy tires. 55,000 mile tread warranty incredibly quiet. Since ownership four months 38 mpg. Will get these on our 2023 NX 350h when the time comes. Snow and ice not an issue.

yes, a good choice if snow and ice are not an issue...

That sounds strange. I swapped out the Primacy tires for Nokians all weathers and no difference in gas mileage. The Cross climate tires are very popular in Europe.
Wondering if anyone has used these tires on their 5th Gen RX350. My car (350h) came with 21” OEM tires and I need a separate winter set so instead of getting winter tires I am looking at Pirelli Weatheractive all weather tires this time. I will need to do 20” tires with aftermarket alloys as there are very limited options in 21”.
Where I live, we usually get snow from late Nov - Feb but the City clears it within a day or two. Freeze and thaw cycles may add some ice to otherwise dry roads but it has not been an issue. I always ran dedicated winter tires before (Blizzaks, X-Ice, Ice Zero). Snow days have become significantly less over the last 2 decades, so I was hoping all weather tires may work fine to overcome the annoying road noise typical of dedicated winter tires. These tires will also allow me to leave them on a bit longer until April when surprise snow is not a concern anymore.
Anyone else experimented with these tires?
I am curious to also know if there have been any complaints of 20” tires rubbing against fender wall or anything else.
Your opinions of the OEM Bridgestone Alenza all-weather tires on SAND.
We have been invited to join a family member on the North Carolina outer banks. But to get to the rented house, we need to drive over some soft sand then travel 15 miles on a beach, to Corova Beach!
Anybody ever tried this, or are they familiar with conditions of the 'beach access road' in Corolla, NC? Not THAT worried about driving on hard-packed beach, but the beginning and end are raising concerns.

Follow Up:
We had no issues driving through the rutted, soft beach sand in TRAIL MODE after airing our tires down to 25PSI. Yes, the TPMS warned us about the low pressure.
BUT
After getting home and cleaning the car, we found that both rear door's bottom cladding pieces had accumulated more than a tablespoon of sand! Pounding the cladding made most of the sand come out from a gap in the trail edge, in piles on the driveway... A vacuum got some more sand out.
Tirerack doesn't show it yet either. Am I glad that the 235/50R21 size is there for the 500h as well, as that creates more of a market and therefore incentives for more products/competition for these 21 inch wheels. I suppose the 350h Luxury has that size too.
Hopefully Michelin will join the party soon, and release the Crossclimate (All season) for the 235/50R1 size
I just picked up a nail in my 12k mile 2023 RX350. Since its in the sidewall, its unrepairable. It is the GoodYear variant. Dealer had 1 but it was $40 more expensive, even before the extra install, etc was added. Discount Tire found one in another state and won't be here for several days so I am stuck in the driveway until then. I had hoped these tires would be more available by now but so far thats a pipe dream. The one tire from Discount will be $330 all in, including a 5% military discount...Oouch..... I don't know how many miles these Goodyears are expected to go but I hope they get me to a point where there are more choices when I need them. And my dealer likes to put 35psi in them even though the door panel says 33. I didn't even ask why as I don't have a lot of confidence in my local dealer anymore. This is our 3rd Lexus from them. I really love the car but there are a few things I would change but it is what it is.
‘There is little doubt that with Lexus selling these 21” wheels, the tire makers will respond to cash in. I have been pretty happy with the 21” Goodyears and can not say I would not replace with the same. We will see what they come out with. Plenty of rubber on my tires for now.
guess what, there still aren’t more options. I love how the 21s look but considering not buying a rx with them although it looks better. How is everyones 21’s doing especially in snow?

I just had a nail at 7 K miles in Bridgestones, though thankfully not in the sidewall - so it was repairable at my local tire mechanic. While there, I was chit-chatting about lack of choices at 21 inch (though I'm glad there is a Yokohama Geolander now, at least) - and my tire guy started talking about Hankook and Nokian. I looked at Hankook's website, there's none at this stock spec. At Nokian, there are only winter tires for snow, not all season. Very quesitonable decision by Lexus for these 21 inch wheels instead of 20 inches.
Unless there are Michelin Cross-climate2 released in about a year or so, I will probably have to go with the Yokohama Geolanders for myself. At least the tires can't get any worse than what Lexus/Bridgestone blessed us with, it can only get better with replacements.
Thanks. I went to TireRack and it appears that only the Michelin is new, not OEM. And it's a summer tire with only a 20,000 warranty. Not a great option in Pittsburgh. I don't need tires yet, but if I did, I'd probably have to get the same OEM Goodyears that are on the vehicle. I was hoping for more options but it is what it is. Thanks.
