I just traded my 2016 for a 2019. My trailer hitch fit no problem but the power source for the wiring is a round pin compared to the flat pins of previous years. Searched amazon and the net but cant find wiring. Etrailer says the old version works but the pins are different and will not work

 

does this help, it use to be a flat 4,
does the new vehicle not have the wiring harness for the flat 4 in the same place ??

 

The change is the power connector with the fuse inside the car. My 2016 had flat pins, the 2019 has round pins and different size connector

Figured it out, i was trying to connect where the white & black connect (one on left)

, it should be the connector on the right

 

got ya, mine had the hitch installed at port, before i took delivery,
glad you figured it out.

 

WRONG! I don’t have a connection on the right! I can’t believe it! I looked all through the back of the car and underneath.

I hope that was not removed, my salesperson told me the car was the same ☹️
