Where am I suppose to put the gas cap ?
Where am I suppose to put the gas cap !?! There is this small circular hole but my gas cap as nothing that would fit inside it.

It's not a perfect fit, but the nozzle end of the gas cap fits in the partial circular groove that's on the door. See the markup.

Thanks !
this is the weirdest design for a fuel cap holder I’ve ever seen.

i hang mine here, on the gas cap itself there is two notches that are there that "hook: or slide into there. This way the white plastic threads dont touch anything. If the white threads get dirty, over time it can cause a evap leak and make the tolerance loose causing an improper seal. Idk thats where i hang mine lol or when im lazy i just let it hang there.

I recently purchased this generation of RX and must agree with those that are perplexed by this strange design. However, it does seem to work OK even if it is a bit unusual. I also understand those that are concerned about dirt in the holder potentially contaminating the gas cap and ultimately getting into the fuel supply, however that same argument could be made against just about every gas cap holder I have ever used, regardless of model or generation. I'm not sure there is a perfect and completely sterile design for holding the cap during refueling but this design doesn't seem particularly worse than any other in my humble opinion. I am intrigued by the workaround option shared on this thread and will give it a try, although I am not particularly concerned with the factory option.

So me being from Jersey I’ve never had to worry about the gas cap. I’m on a road trip and has to gas up in Maryland and tried using the cap holder like two seconds before I said f this and just let it hang. Not sure how that thing would actually work. I see in theory how it would work, but the hanger is so stiff that it pulls it off the hook right away.

Both methods (#23 and #25) work perfectly on my RX. I had previously just let it hang, but the side hanger (#25) is appealing because the inner (white) surface is not exposed to any contamination.
