Blind spots-- driver and passenger side
Any tips on dealing with the blindspots? I feel like I'm not seeing 100% of the lane to my left when trying to merge there because I can't see that driver-side back small window. Right is a little better because you can see out that, but I could see a small car hiding underneath that passenger-side back window.

there are a couple of options..
-take your time - check, double check and triple check
-get one of those small blind spot mirrors that you can stick on
-adjust your mirrors "properly" so that you can see more out of the mirrors - most folks adjust it so you can still see your own car - which isnt the most effective in using the mirrors -

No BSM in your RX?

Adjust your side mirrors so you do NOT see your own vehicle. The purpose of those mirrors is to see the cars in you left or right lanes, not the cars in your lane. I started adjusting the mirrors this way about one year ago. At the beginning, it was weird since the car right next to me filled the mirror and looked so big. But then I was thinking that was the mirror was designed for, right? I tested it many times in slow traffic with cars on both sides. The blind spot is bare minimum for small cars and is none for larger vehicles. Now I adjusted all my cars side mirrors this way, including my RX with BSM.
