Yes the Triple Beam LED package includes the corner light next to fog lights. They only work at very slow speed. In contrast, the Bi-LED actually turn illuminating into a curve when the car is moving. Nevertheless, I find those cornering lights very useful driving around the neighborhood.

I expected the Triple Beam to be smarter, turning beams on and off as needed to illuminate portions of the road. But they just have high and low beams only. Their illumination is fixed straight on.

Default 2019 Triple Beam LED & Cornering lights wil turn on.

My 2019 with the triple beam led and cornering lights will turn on any speed or stationary. On the freeway when I signal or turn off to exit the lights activate even at 60 mph. May this is new for 2019.

From the manual:

Cornering lights (if equipped)

● When the steering wheel or turn signal lever is operated while the headlights are on (low beam), a cornering light will turn on and light up the direction of movement of the vehicle. The cornering lights are designed to ensure excellent visibility when making a turn at an intersection. However, when vehicle speed is approximately 22 mph (35 km/h) or higher, the cornering lights will not turn on.

● When the shift lever is in R while the headlights are on (low beam), both cornering lights will turn on. This is designed to enhance visibility when parking.

Hm... I will try this in the early morning hours when going on the highway. I swear my 2017 lights up on the highway as well but now that I think about it, I'm not sure.

My 2017 RX450h with triple beam does not light up the lights unless I slow down. I will turn the signal in the avenue several feet before the entrance of our neighborhood. The cornering lights turns on when I have put on the break enough to slow down to ~20MPH and take the turn. It usually comes on when I am starting to take the turn. It will definitely not turn on if I am driving over 30MPH. I wish they would have place the cutoff a little higher like 45MPH, so I can see the ditch well before turning into my dark neighborhood entrance.

By the way, in Europe it is adaptive, see this explanation from Lexus. Too bad Lexus does not offer that in the US.

In Australia we have the adaptive lights too on the F-Sport models - works extremely well, as an oncoming vehicle passes you you can see the lights light up again one by one like a wave.

My 07 ES had the adaptive self leveling headlight. The only cool thing about it was when you turned on the car the projectors would aim up then down then level out but it was more of a gimmick. They supposedly turned with the steering wheel but I never noticed anything different, then again I live in a city where everything is lit so it’s really overkill around here.

Okay, I just tried on the highway today. The cornering lights definitely don't turn on after 30mph. Guess I was mistaken.
