I believe it can lose some over time (years) even though it's not consumed since the joints are not soldered. My 5 year old Azera is showing signs - the air is cold but it struggles a bit on blistering hot days.

Sometimes its a very slow leak... Or a leak so small or hard to reach places that the tech cant find it. But losing freon = leak. BTW especially on an older car it may be more economical to ignore the leak and just add freon every other summer etc.

I'd get them to give you a loaner, leave yours with them and tell them to give you a call when it blows cold air.

It blowed hot air out for like 30 minutes, by the time I got the dealer, the car already blowing cold air.

I just buy my NX last month it keep blow hot air.. my car now at dealer almost 10 day still checking the problem..0

I just buy my nx300 last month last week my car air con start blowing hot air,
now my car is still checking in progress at dealer, any suggestions for me?

I'll assume you're not from the USA, so don't know any dealer policies such as a loaner etc. If you do have a loaner, let them take their time. If you don't, I'd start leaning on your dealer. Non functioning AC isn't rocket science.
