Look on page 6, near the bottom, "2018 RX-any info/minor changes/updates?"

They made basic Enform for 10 years free as standard (at same time lowered price for everyone else). And lowered cost of the 450h significantly. Unofficially, they seemed to have improved/cut an issue where some early models had a vibration/drone from the exhaust bushings/attachments.

the lowered cost of the 450 was offered with fewer standard options, not an all out price drop

The new 10 year trial of Safety Connect/Service Connect and the reduced cost of the optional Remote Start
and Destination Assist services means that the RS is now $80/year rather than the previous $250/year.

Minor changes include moving the Split Flow (S-Flow) HVAC button from a hard key on the main Climate
row of buttons to a soft key in the Climate screen. It is now with the Windshield Wiper Bed heater button.

A feature that is not changed for 2018 but may not be widely known is the trick to raising the windshield
wiper arms for maintenance or windshield scraping. Within 30 seconds of shutting off the RX lift and hold the
wiper control stalk up in the "Mist" position. The arms will power up and park straight up. Next time the RX
is powered up just move the wiper stalk again and the arms will return to the normal park position.

Good find Mccomer! Is this feature present in the 2017 MY across all the models? I'll try it tomorrow and see if I have it.

Yes, the windshield wiper maintenance position started with the generation in 2016.

Yes, your 2017 RX should respond, hold the wiper arm up against the spring to the
Mist position and hold it there for a couple of seconds...the arms should magically rise!

Will try again tomorrow, probably did not hold it against the spring long enough.

It does offer an overall price drop with the added benefit of a lesser starting price with less options but even when loaded the 450H is still cheaper than before. We will be buying one this year; just waiting to see if there will be a facelift for 2019 MY and what if the changes are before we commit.

Did try again yesterday, holding up for longer and it happened as you said, the wipers came up to the 12 o'clock position. Thanks again
