Ipod Nano Audiobook Doubleplay
I have an iPod Nano that I use to listen to audiobooks in the car. The iPod runs to the audio system through the USB port. Mostly it plays great; however, there is one thing that continues to elude me. I download the audiobooks from Overdrive at the local library and move them to my iPod. As such, there are several "parts" to each book (mostly so that someone can burn them to individual CDs if desired). The problem is that, at the end of each part, the next part starts playing. Only about 10 seconds, but I always seem to miss the last 10 seconds of a part while the next one starts playing.
I have looked all over for a fix - not knowing if it was a Lexus issue, an iPod Nano issue, or an Overdrive issue.
If anyone has some thoughts, it would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem
It happened in my Lexus and my Toyota. I changed a setting on my Nano and it fixed my problem. Under settings, Music, turn off the Audio crossfade option. It worked for me. Hope it helps.
