Unimportant to me as well but everyone seems obsessed with the ability to project their phones on the info system in the car.

New guy here. Just took delivery on a 2018 RX 350. Loving the car!! Thought about waiting a few months to get the '19 but just couldn't wait, lol. Wondering though, any other changes that you noticed in the order guide??

I've seen the guide and the current change log is empty. There is a disclaimer in the bottom that said the standard features may be updated once pricing is released, so still can't completely rule out CarPlay just yet...

Other question is when we expect to see this info? is 2019MY comes out in September?

That should be the expected arrival month for Canada, so I presume a similar timeline for the US as well.

If Lexus is not bringing any major changes on the '19 RX then why in the world would they drag their feet into announcing something now that we are in the 2nd half of the year. Hopefully they realize they are pushing customers to look for alternatives,

My understanding from a friend/trainer in Torrance is that the 2019 will be a late intro. I'm taking that to possibly mean Dec-Jan?

If there is to be an intro in September, then I should already be able to see allocations in Dealer Daily. There are no 19 showing.

keep in mind the 17s were built very late into the year, my build was delivered december 17.
there are screen mirroring options, to display your phone on either the large or small side of the display.

amazing this thread has so much activity since its speculation and guessing.

Default 2018 vs 2019 RX450H

Hello,

I am considering leasing a RX450H (or purchasing if the numbers don't add up). Dealership said the 2019s won't be out until October or so.

Is it worth it to get the 2018 or wait for the 2019? I doubt there will be any body changes since the current gen is from 2016. \

Thanks

You want the best deal - buy a 2018 when the 2019s are in stock as long as you don't care about the trade value a few years down the road. Pay me now or pay me later

Guess we’ll have to wait it out for specific details, for those of us in the US. Lexus seems as secretive as Apple.

once you figure out the formula for Coca Cola, you may be able to determine if any changes are forthcoming 😁
