Maybe not potholes but rain can wreak havoc by dragging crap on the road. I had screws in the tread three years in a row. At least two were after heavy rainfalls. I'm so not looking forward to seeing what's underneath all the snow piled up near the curbs.

Off the charts or not..In the last 18 months 2 punctured tires (usually screws or nails. (1 was repairable, 1 wasn't because it was too close to sidewall) and one was a piece of steel shrapnel that went and tumbled under the car and took out the RR tire. The tire deflated in a nano second and was towed to the dealer.
