Default RX 350 2017 back up lines

My in-laws just purchased a 2017 RX 350. I have a couple of questions. Do the backup lines move as you turn? and Can you change the backup lines to yellow?

You have one set of fixed lines, and one set of moving lines. The moving ones are yellow.

Go to center console "menu" then on screen "setup" and then open "vehicle".
You will now see a tab for "rear camera" to choose between 1) just the single
red clearance line 2) the red line plus some fixed blue guide lines 3) those
plus the articulating yellow lines, aka the yellow brick road...

Because the OP is asking about a possibly recent purchase 2017... the
original dealer was to "initialize" the display while performing the PreDelivery
Inspection. All that is involved here is to 1) put the RX in reverse 2) turn
the steering wheel from full right to full left (lock to lock). That will trigger
the yellow lines if they were not showing previously.

Thank you so much. I will try this when I get home. It might have been done and shown to them and they messed it up. They are having trouble figuring things out.

With blue and yellow lines the blue as mentioned do not move while the yellow lines move with the steering direction. The yellow lines indicate the estimate course or direction of the vehicle while the blue lines indicate the width and current position of the vehicle in relation to the course lines. With the steering wheel in straight position, yellow and blue lines should be in alignment. It takes a little practice to fully understand it. The best practice is to back up in a white painted parking spot starting very slowly with the initial aim of aligning the yellow course line in the middle of the white painted parking lines.

Mine doesn’t have the option in the menu.

But it when I put the into reverse gear, you can see the options on the bottom of the reverse screen and change with the mouse control.
