Anyone use this on a 4RX yet? I gave up on trying to get my dealer to change my LPSs! Actually, has anyone used the Carista app on a 4RX in Hawaii? My dealer claims that Hawaii cars are shipped with different "options". I'm 90% sure he was just feeding me bs so they wouldn't need to do it, but there is still a slight possibility he was telling the truth. Hawaii cars are shipped without any safety connect/sos button so that's why I'm still on the fence on weather or not to believe him.

*UPDATE* Got the Carista OBD2 adapter and.....as I thought....it works! Here's a little cleaner list for those that are interested in exactly what is programmable on the 4RX.

as long as your car has that one plug under the steering wheel you should be good

 

I have used in on my 2017. I played around with settings, but the one I really wanted to do, the sensitivity on the touch less
rear hatch, I could not find.

 

Check again! I believe they have another update that added this issue

So where is this thread that has people specifically using the carista app on a 4th gen RX? Please post a link because I've been searching and searching on here. I don't care about how well it works on an LS or an IS.

 

hi their is an option for this! I just got my from Amazon today. I will send a screenshot export of all settings shortly.

 

Here are the settings. Sorry its messy I only how to take screenshots to export these photos. Please note I have changed so settings so they are not all default settings. Also this is from my 2016 RX350 US Spec. Options on mine are 360 cam, big sunroof, luxury package, hud, no touch back door. don't remember the rest anyways their can be more or less settings for yours.

Just got my Carista OBD2 adapter and it's awesome! Plug it in, turn the ignition on, and change the settings you want. I thought I would have problems connecting but nope! No set up or pairing needed!

 

And NO DEALER! yea!

 

YES!! Now if only the people at carista can figure out a way to change the color on the PVM I'd be set!

 

does this have the ability to release the electronic e-brake when servicing the rear brakes?

 

Can you not just disable it from the switch in the car...ie turn it off so it doesn't come on. Or does the brake do something funny anyway so servicing the rear brakes is still difficult?
