Does anybody have any issues with their gas cap? It seems like I have to find the preferred spot and push down really hard for it to pop out. I normally just use my finger and pull it out between the gap with no issue. Not sure if this worth even bring it to the dealer.

Not sure if your 16 uses a button to open the door or you push the door in and then the door pops open.

You do know you have the have the doors unlocked to get the gas door open

Mine can be temperamental. Sometimes it's a quick slap (sort of) others it's a push. 50/50 if it opens the first time. Of course it always opens when I'm polishing/waxing it!

If you lock your doors it shouldn't open when you're waxing your car .

Doors are unlocked...it just opens when I don't want it to...when i take off polish/wax of course it opens...when I try to add gas it gives me a hard time. I'm just old and not too bright !

Also, you might want to give the hinge and locking mechanism a spritz of WD40 lub so it opens when you want it to.

I have a button to push inside my car to open the fuel door. Which model did you guys get to have the push type door?

450H has the gas cap button

Regular versions just touch the center rear of the gas door and it pops open. I fill up once a week and have had zero issues. Then push down to close.
