Default Anyone install the side door moldings

Just wondering if anyone has ordered the side door moldings.
How much are they and did you install them yourself.
Any info would be appreciated.

I had them installed on an earlier 3d Gen RX. The only drawback I found, was when they are hit/nicked, the paint chipped off and left a white plastic showing.

If you're talking about the door edge guards I installed them on my rx350. I ordered them on eBay from a Lexus dealer for about $85usd all in. They are metal and come painted in the exact colours to match your car. The instructions have a template that you cut out and follow when installing them. All you need is a solid rubber mallet and some mechanical know-how. The pieces are friction fitted held in place by the shape of the mouldings. They kind of grab the door edge. All in all fairly easy to install if you have some patience and are a do-it-yourselfer.

I just ordered mines off ebay, how did you guys install it? Was it easy to align and measure? What do you need to wash the car with before installing?

I had a choice of solid color as in the white FX above or the chrome strip in the center. I think the little bit of chrome adds a nice touch.

Speaking of moldings, I found these on amazon.com - I think they add a little class.
