I was considering ordering the Fram for a GS-350. I dont want to be confused. Arrow pointing up means air flow is pointing up towards vehicle. Are you saying the carbon coating is on the arrow head end and not the straight part of arrow end? I would think the carbon coating should be on the straight end part so that air pass it through it before going into the filter

For oem, its best to use 87139 0E040 however it's in backorder a lot at my local dealership. Toyota dealer tried to sell me the lighter charcoal version as well as the non charcoal filters, they don't work as well.

After market I could only suggest fram CF12157, also works well had both charcoal and baking soda in it. The direction is confusing tho, it illustrates air flow direction as opposed to OEM's up arrow sign. I think the the placement is the opposite as oem, if I remembered it correctly, the blower housing is on top, so the air flow is going down.

I just ordered 87139 0E040 from Bell Lexus last week. Try online.

Cabin filter, doesn't need to OEM but do get a charcoal if you want to work better.
