Default Where To Buy Engine Air Filter and Air Conditioning Filter?

Hi, I have a IS250 and I'm trying to look for the best price and place to order a new:

1) Engine air filter

Any ideas?

For pricing, you can go to Wal-Mart and buy a Fram air filter. Fram even makes those in cabin micro filters now and some Wal-Mart's carry those as well. Make sure to place the air controls on re-circulate if you change the cabin filter.

Fram is the devil. I've seen some of their liquid filters actually fall apart in peoples hands.

I have not had this issue, but anything is possible. I personally use the OEM filter for a buck or two more. The in-cabin microfilters are worth buying Fram as they are $10-$15 cheaper for the same element. The OP seemed concerned with price.

I should probably get this done on my car. I have around 18k miles and havent done either yet. Last I looked and the air filter was pretty good still. I say stay with the OEM like Brian mentioned for the few extra $$.

Just to be sure I'm looking at the right parts, are these it? Just one of each is all that's needed?

http://www.trademotion.com/shoppingc...6catalogid%3D1

Are all the parts from that site OEM?

How much of a discount is that code?

Thanks

The dealers are about $35 for the filter element itself so that is not bad. There was a member last year who made his own from a home heppa furnace filter. He was able to make 4-5 out of a single sheet. I think it also cost him $20. A simple search should produce this past thread.
