Anyone else think the wipers are slow?
Have driven my 4-month old RX 350 F-Sport through a couple of heavy downpours this summer while on the Interstate. Both times, I could barely get the wipers up to what I would call a medium-speed. I could barely see the road, even dropping down to 55 mph. Not even close to how my former 2012 RX350 wipers functioned.
Yesterday, we tried a side-by-side comparison (parked in driveway, using garden hose to simulate rain) with my husband's old 2007 Chevy. Even this was significantly faster than my 2016 RX.
Thoughts?

Yes, sensitivity has been adjusted
Sensitivity has been turned all the way up. Not even close to the speed of my 2012 RX350 (or my husband's Chevy).
Will contact dealer tomorrow, but was hoping someone else might have experienced this and knew the solution.
Thanks

Windshield Wipers Slow?
I am on my 5th Lexus and I find the wipers on this one works just like the previous ones. You set them correctly and they work fine. Always possible any given vehicle could have a part that is not up to par. If it is raining heavily you can not expect to drive at 70+ miles per hour and expect them to keep up with the rain.

LOL! I thought I was the only one who did that! RainX also helps when it's raining lightly and the wipers tend to squeak after a couple passes.

Interesting thread...
I don't have the slow wiper issue..but when you drive in a quiet cabin such as the RX, the slightest noise, squeak and/or rattle gets annoying really quickly. So, I do find them to be a bit "loud" per say.
My issue is that I have is that the right blade scrapes so hard against the windshield that it leaves a crease on the glass... almost as if they blades are too tight.
I complained to dealer when I brought it in to have my tires swapped for Michelins and they told me this is normal
How can this be "normal" operation? Anyone else having this issue?

Rain sensing wipers
Any trick to this feature - mine don't seem to work.

They are not the fastest wipers but get the job done most the time.
There are some rain falls that are so strong that no wipers could handle.
Irma is coming to visit me!

I find in auto mode they sometimes go unnecessarily fast. When I use in manual, I find it better. In manual fast mode they are as fast as any car I have ever owned, I don't have any thing special on the windshield and use whatever fluid. I do change the rubber in the blades every year.

RainX is a must on any vehicle!
But I find my automatic setting not working to my taste when in a light rain, I bring down the sensitivity by one down and back at it's position and it seems to make it sweep more often.
