F Sport Squeaky Steering Wheel?
Have a new RX350 FSport with only 700 miles but ever since I got the car there is a murmuring squeak when turning the steering wheel. Does anyone else have this and is it normal? Thanks!

On the Gen 3 had it a lot. The dealer greased the boot where the steering column enters the engine compartment. After 3 times applying grease the squeak finally went away. That would be my guess on yours...

Took it in today and even the service advisor said he noticed the rubbery sound when turning the wheel. But they disassembled it and said everything was fine. Then compared it to their new RX's and said the others had the same sound too. Does anyone else have these sounds when turning the steering wheel?? It's getting really annoying so any input would help. Thanks.

No issue with my 2016. Had this issue on an older Lexus and they had to lube the inside of the steering column. Sounds like your dealer is uninformed and you may want to try another one.

Interesting...my '13 Rx450h had some of that sound. It was never enough to bother me and I'd always forget to mention it when I took it to the dealer for service. Perhaps I listen to the radio louder than you do??

i have the same noise in mine. I have not had to the dealer to have it checked yet. I'll have them look at it at the 5K service;
I would be interested to know if you fine something.

I'm getting this squeak now when turning the steering wheel. Before I start taking things apart has anyone found a source of this noise? It's definitely coming from inside the cabin at the steering column.

clock springs can make noise, if its not the intermediate shaft or boot area down low.
