Very happy camper! Had these same issues, car made horrible sound, low brake power, all sorts of random error codes showed up and wouldn’t start. Was so hoping it wasn’t the vacuum issue. Jumped the car and boom...started like a champ. Went to autozone got a new $200 battery (why the hell are they so expensive) and the car is like new. So happy I didn’t pay to tow to dealer. Car had original battery and I guess 4 year battery life isn’t so bad in Houston.
Have you had any more problems since you replaced the battery? I had the same issue with mine last night. The brake was already pressed all the way down and no official start. All the lights on the panel lighting up stating low brake power. I replaced my battery last night and I was able to drive it today. Please advise when you can if you’ve had any more problems. Thank you can.
Similar issue with my 2020 RX350 . getting braking power low and power steering malfunction warnings. I will have it checked at the dealer next week. I hope it is just the battery.
I had a similar issue on my 2016 RX350. My situation was the car was dead, kept clicking/turning over when trying to start it. I tired recharging my battery and was met with a bunch of errors (see photos - first displayed Low Brake Power for a second and then showed the AWD malfunction error). After reading multiple forums regarding the Low Brake Power and AWD messages, I ended up buying a new Interstate battery, let the car sit for 30 minutes to reset the ECU before connecting it, hooked it up and everything cleared and is working great!
Read many comments on this board. Some say Brake Booster and some say Battery. Called CAA. They came and jump-start the car. I let the car run for a while. Shut it off. The car started again and again. Told my wife not to drive unless getting stuck. I'm looking for a new battery. I like Interstate batteries.
