Getting Low Brake Pressure Warning 3 or 4 times a week. RX wont start, sometimes takes 10 15 minutes and massive brake pumping. Dealer says cant duplicate problem and is no help at all.
If i were you, I would take a video every time I started my car. Early in the cold morning, after using it and not using it for a few hours etc. If you have a video it's alot more convincing.
Has anyone else had issues with their brakes? In December shortly after purchasing my car it began throwing a "low brake power" light in the mornings. I would get in and the brake wouldn't go down to allow me to start the car. I was able to override by holding the start button and after the car was driven it wasn't an issue until the next morning. I took it in and they replaced some tube that was leaking. 4 months later I'm having the same issue. I get in the car and the brake refuses to go down to allow me to start the car. Back to the dealer I go..........
I have this very same problem after not starting car for a few days. My car has barely 2,000 miles on it and I reported the problem to my dealer and they could not duplicate the issue and talked to me like I didn't understand how to turn on the car. After several tries i am able to get car started but i was very surprised/disappointed that a brand new luxury car has this problem. Shame on you Lexus.
I had the same issue early this year (purchased the RX 350 last day of 2015); the warning showed every day in the morning; dealer found vacuum leak of brake booster and get it replaced; it's been good so far as far as I don't park it for over a week without starting.
May be a bad battery. Ours did that on a weekend. I jumped it off and it drove fine but would not charge the battery. Jumped it off Monday and drove it to the dealer where they install a new battery under warranty. Car had about 10,000 miles on it.
Mine did the same thing and had less than 2000 miles. I call Lexus roadside assistance and they found out it was the battery. They charged it and i drove it to the dealer. It had a short and was replaced under warranty.
