Tint Percentage?

I'm hoping if I go darker with the tint it will match looking out. I was thinking 15% all around but maybe a little to dark at night. With it being 20% from factory and you put 15% on it that might knock it down to 5%. I think the best thing to do is get to the tint shop and hold samples up at the windows to see what works.
Thats the main reason im going with 3M color stable. It still provides enough protection but also gives me the privacy I need.
For Color stable, they only have 5%, 20%, 35%, and 50%.
Based on the other member's pics. It seems like you could go with 20% on the rears and be fine. 5% might be pushing it to the super dark limo tint status.
Hear in CA it is illegal for front tint, but the majority of drivers do it anyways. I may go with 35%!
Don't forget about your interior! If you have a light interior, it makes the tint appear alot lighter.
I got 20 on the rear and 35 on the front on a light tan interior is250 and honestly, the back looks the same as the front and didn't seem dark enough.
But because there is factory tint already installed, I feel like 20% rear should be good!
haha im just excited to get my car in march so i've been doing a ton of research and patiently waiting.

I did 20% 3M. Matches the rear glass perfectly. Paid $110.

Ok, got 3M Crystalline installed on all windows except moonroof. Very light up front because i don't want the wife/baby to deal with tint tickets. 90% windshield, 70% front windows , 40% rears and everything else. Note, 40% is the darkest Crystalline is available... When parked in the garage next to my Audi which has 20% Llumar regular grade tint, the Audi seems a tad darker than the 40% Crystalline over the OEM tint..Custom clear bra on top of rear bumper so if i drag something out of the trunk it won't damage top of bumper . With Crystalline tint, there' s a "3M" watermark every few inches to prove its Crystalline. It can be removed once tint is cured using alcohol and the shop will remove it for me in a few weeks.
Pictures were taken at sundown around 4:30PMish

Here's a closeup picture i took of the 3M Crystalline "watermark" on the tint film with a piece of yellow microfiber cloth behind it. This watermark can be removed using a microfiber cloth dipped in a 50/50 mix of rubbing alcohol and water. If you paid for 3M Crystalline tint, be sure your installer shows you this watermark or you might not have gotten the true Crystalline product
