I never use Eco but have used both sport and normal and sport, without a doubt, decreases my mileage buy 3-4 mpg. Sure it is more fun to drive as it keeps the RPM up more into the power curve for quick response, all equaling less mileage.
Maybe it's because in Eco mode most people are finding it to be too weak and just end up hitting the accelerator harder which then just equalizes the mileage or makes it worse.. Not too sure. I find the Eco mode for me doesn't make much of a difference at all either if it does at all. I'm pretty sure it all comes down to how you drive it.

No doubt how you drive it is the largest factor. I see so many people who are not looking ahead and anticipating a light or stop sign ahead that are not only wasting gas in rapid acceleration, but wearing out their brakes coming to a stop again.

The most important factor is between our ears. But, Sport mode is fun!

18 MPG in SoCal. Not great IMO. I would like a little more range between fiill ups so I may go with the RX450h in 3-4 years.

Weather getting warmer and I think they switched over to summer blend fuel and I'm getting 22.7MPG on last tank. In winter months, I was getting about 16.5 - 18 MPG on same driving pattern.

I am noticing the same. The mileage has starting to go up and i'm seeing 18 mpg now where i was seeing 16 before. I don't know if it is the break in period or not either. But i took a trip straight freeway miles right after a gas up and it read 25mpg and it was getting close to 26 mpg on highway. So i'm happy with the numbers. I was concerned before where it was only reading 16 mpg before. But i'm a happy camper now. Mileage looking good.

1st tank 15.6 Normal mode OEM gas
2nd tank 16.2 Eco mode 7-Eleven regular gas
3rd tank 15.5 Eco mode Racetrac regular gas
4th tank 16.5 Eco mode 7-Eleven Regular gas (switch to 20" and 38 psi from 18" and 33 psi)
5th tank 18.3 Normal mode 7-Eleven regular gas (75% tank=13 gallons and 245 miles = 18.8 mpg
6th tank 19.7 Sport mode 7-Eleven regular gas (254.3 miles / 12.72 gallons = 20 mpg! Manually)
7th tank 19.2 ECO mode test difference between winter and summer gas(250.3 miles / 13.12 gallons = 19.1 mpg manually)
8th tank ??? ECO mode 7-Eleven SUPER PREMIUM gas to compare to regular
9th tank ??? SPORT mode 7-Eleven SUPER PREMIUM to compare to regular

Apparently summer gas blend provides better mileage than winter gas but now my commute has 3 exits in the highway instead of 100% city stop and go 35-45 mph. Will test Premium in SPORT mode and then will stop keeping track of my mileage and always drive in SPORT mode! ECO SUCKS!

I just drove round trip to Washington, DC (520 miles, each way). I was in Normal mode, with Cruise set at 77, most of the time. I averaged 22.8 mpg.

8th tank 19.5 ECO mode 7-Eleven SUPER PREMIUM gas to compare to regular (267.1miles / 13.8 gallons = 19.4mpg)
9th tank ??? SPORT mode 7-Eleven SUPER PREMIUM to compare to regular

No difference with premium compared to regular gas. Since there is no difference between ECO and SPORT mode in my style of driving, I will always drive in SPORT mode ( 35-45 mph city driving lots of lights). Tried to hold the circular switch to stay put on SPORT mode with some tape but it shuts off automatically! Hope Charista app adds a SPORT mode ALWAYS ON toggle.

Default Miles per gas tank

I been drove my rx350 with eco and normal mode for this 2 weeks. And filled up 3 time, 15 gallons each time and it only last me 189 miles or 200 miles for every 15 gallons. The record show 13 mpg. I wondering if anyone know what is going on or it just normal
