That sounds about right. When the new IS came out, it took WeatherTech quite a while to come out with the first mats, and even longer to come out with mats for both AWD and RWD models.

I have an existing Thule Cargo box. Should i just get the Lexus Cross Bars or wait for Thule to come out with theirs?

I'm not sure what the difference would be between the Lexus crossbars and the Thule ones. My RX is a '13, so my experience is slightly different, but it came with the Lexus crossbars and they work well with my Thule box.

On another side note:

Hello James,

Thank you for contacting us with your interest in our ProClip products. At this time we do not have a ProClip vehicle mount for the new 2016 Lexus RX350. The good news is we do anticipate having mounts for this vehicle. Due to the availability of the vehicles in the local showrooms, we anticipate the mounts to be available in early – mid 2016. Once we have the mounts available you will receive a separate email notification letting you know the mounts are available.

I used to use Pro Clip for my phones but quit after the clip on my AC vent got the phone so cold that it sweated when I got out of the vehicle. They make good devices but sometimes use bad locations.

I've have weather tech in my wife's 15 RX and had it in my 2011 IS. Both sets rear seat mats and cargo liners roll at the edges. I'd look at another option other than weather tech. Front liners work and fit great.

thule vs factory cross bars

its simple

factory from what I understand sits lower because the cross bar is in between the rails

thule/yakima anything after market is going to grab onto those rails and sit higher.
