So why is it the 2022 does not have the touchless sensor to open the rear lift gate? I am not talking about the kick sensor.

I see that the 2016-2019 had it.

 

I was curious about this as well. Also do these cars not have puddle lights on the mirrors? Ive had several cars that had those even some I changed to LED ..

 

I'm pretty sure they replaced the touchless sensor with the kick sensor in MY2020. Which...seems like many models don't have either. Currently own two 2021 premium trim and F-Sport trim 450h's, and neither have the kick sensor included. Not sure who was in charge of making all of these dumb decisions, but they have driven me away from Lexus sadly.

 

Have a 2022 RX350 with the kick sensor, it works about half the time if everything (moon, stars, polar ice caps, and the wind direction) lines up correctly. EAsier to just walk up to the hatch and press the button above the license plate.
