Default Recalled vehicle thoughts?

Does anyone have any thoughts positive or negative on purchasing a previously recalled Lexus RX 350 2019? Or maybe the better question is do any of you have a recalled vehicle that was fixed and have had no problems since the repair? (Namely the fuel pump deal). Thanks in advance for any responses.

There is a thread on the fuel pump recall that got a lot of action a few months ago. I don't recall anyone having major issues with the repair, other than those that took the vehicle in for service with a full tank. Some of those folks complained of fuel spillage and resulting smell. I'm not in your situation, but based on what I've read on the forum I'd have no qualms about buying an RX that had the fuel pump replaced.

Mine was on the list, had the repair, and has been trouble-free ever since (45K miles). If I were considering a used car purchase, I would be more concerned about a car that did NOT have the repair performed.

Recall on vehicles is very common these days since automakers user common parts across many models and any issues discovered in one will also affect the others.

They usually just replace the suspect part and life is good.

I would have quite a few concerns if I was buying a used car but completed recalls would not be one of them.

I think you'd have a real hard time finding any used vehicle (from the last 3-4 years anyhow) that didn't have at least one recall.

Thanks all for your input, good thoughts. I’ll be looking for a good CPO circa 2019-2020.
