Yes as far as I know, but you'll have to purchase the correct set of mapping from the dealer and have them install it.

FOSS is software that is released under a license that allows it's "free" use and and the ability to modify it. It is not owned by any company. It's too big a topic to fully address here, but the general expectation is that if you make changes to the software you should contribute those changes back to the community for possible inclusion in future releases. The site that you referenced appears to be Toyota's acknowledgement that they use some open source software in their products, and they dutifully publish the source code (human-readable version of the software that can be modified) of that software. I don't understand what you are asking regarding changing the map area.

Sounds like this may be a stolen car. We have a big issue around here with thieves shipping stolen cars to the likes of Saudi Arabia. Why would a car sold by a legit dealer have Canadian maps loaded as default in Saudi???

 

Who told you the car was stolen!???
The car was bought from the agent in Canada and I used it for a year and then shipped it to Saudi Arabia, everything is great in it, the specifications are better than the agent in Saudi Arabia, it remains only to change the map
