Rim upgrade. Looking for some help please.
They say the rim will be closer to the suspension. I’m holding this isn’t an issue. Does anyone have any experience with upgrading rims with a slightly different set up. Any advice/help would be great. Cheers
Personally, I would crank my steering wheel all the way to the stop, then get out and measure, on both sides, the closest clearance to suspension elements. Crank it all the way in the opposite direction, and repeat the measurements. You know you need 0.7" more than you presently have, so if the existing clearance is 0.8" or more, you're good to go. Might be good to do this with two adults in the front seats, to make sure the suspension is at least partially compressed.
