Hello, newbie here! I have a 2020 RX350 as of 2/2020 and until recently Alexa with Lexus worked just fine. I primarily use Android Auto but occasionally use Alexa because i have Amazon music.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled, logged out/in, unpaired/re-paired m phone to the car. Bluetooth works just fine. I have the Lexus and Alexa with Lexus app opened. I have even called Lexus and the rep couldn't resolve it. The car does not recognize Alexa as an audio/ app anymore. I'm sure its a simple solution but it is driving me crazy. I dont know what it is, and im pretty tech savy when it comes to basic things.

 

When is the last time you powered off your phone?

Do you have any music on a usb drive(s) in the center console? If so remove them and try again. I had weird problems when my music was more than 2 subdirectories deep.

 

I enjoy using Alexa in my new 2021 RX350...however, it does not always connect to the car even though bluetooth is connected. If I turn off bluetooth on my phone and then turn it back on,
Alexa will then (most of the time) connect - very frustrating. Any suggestions?
