2021 Rx liftgate trim

Hello,

Any idea if the interior trim has to be removed to install the below part? or can it be installed from the outside on a 2021 rx fsport ?

Ok, now that I saw what you are saying, looks to me you might be able to do it outside, maybe. Did something damage that panel?

Yesterday I noticed a very minor crack inside it...Checking with dealer if it can be replaced under warranty.
