Default Moulding peeling away from body

Anyone else have this issue with the moulding peeling away from the body of the car?

I am concerned about the water that gets captured in between the moulding and the fender as it will result in rust forming in there. Anyone else have this issue or recommend the type of glue to use to reseal the moulding the the fender body?

That looks like the rear bumper which is made of plastic and will not rust. Additionally, the molding is mounted with clips, so you can try to push it back up against the body. I have a feeling that your splash guard is the root cause of the issue. I would try removing it to see what is going on.

I am talking about the plastic moulding around all the metal fenders. Most areas around the fender there is no seams for water to sit in there agains the metal fender, but other areas it is peeled away. It is not clipped, it is screwed to the fenders underneath and then glued on the outside. When I peel back the plastic that is coming away from the fender it looks like some type of glue has given way from the fender. Winter weather will be coming back n the next couple of months and I don’t want salt from the roads flying in between the plastic and fender resulting in the wheel wells rusting out. I am going to take it to the dealership to see what they recommend as I think a new bead of glue needs to be applied for the plastic to adhere flush back to the fender.

Those mudguards looks quite different than the OEM ones I'm going to be installing later today. Suggest that your issue is caused by a poor product, poor installation, or both.

That looks awful. Did the dealer install the guards?

No idea, I bought with them already on. The rest of the wheel fenders look perfect, this gap just caught my eye while waxing the car.
